Acceptable Use Policy

Version 0000-00-00.0Effective not yet published
DRAFT — not yet legally binding. Pending lawyer review and entity registration.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund beyond mandatory statutory consumer rights.

1. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Use the Service or its output for real-world driving, real-vehicle setup, or any non-simulator context.
  • Share or resell your account access.
  • Upload telemetry, setups or chat content that you do not have the right to share — including another driver’s iRacing session data.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer or reproduce Pace-ly’s AI prompts, system messages, model parameters or training data.
  • Use the Service or its output to train, fine-tune or evaluate any competing AI model or service.
  • Scrape, crawl, mirror, or otherwise systematically extract Pace-ly content, telemetry or recommendations.
  • Send automated traffic to the API (including /api/live) at rates exceeding ordinary single-user operation, or operate bots, multi-accounts or scripted scenarios designed to evade quotas.
  • Attempt to circumvent authentication, billing, rate limits, or any access controls.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe third-party rights, or to harass, defame or threaten any person.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the operation of the Service.
  • Misrepresent your identity, your age, or your affiliation with any third party.

2. Telemetry you do not own

The Pace-ly Client reads from your local iRacing installation. If you possess telemetry recorded by or for another driver (e.g. a shared replay, a team test), you must have that driver’s permission before uploading it. Pace-ly assumes you have that permission and is not responsible for any third-party claim resulting from your upload.

3. Reporting abuse

To report abuse, account sharing, scraping or other AUP violations contact support@pace-ly.com. Security vulnerabilities should go to the address on our Security page.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice for serious or repeated breaches. Where appropriate we will notify law enforcement.
