Disclaimers

Read these before relying on anything Pace-ly tells you. These disclaimers are part of the Terms of Service and apply every time you use the Service.

1. Simulator only — not for real-world driving

Pace-ly is built exclusively for use with the iRacing simulator. Setup advice, driving observations, telemetry analysis and any other output of the Service describe behaviour within the simulator’s physics model. Do not apply any Pace-ly output to a real-world vehicle, real-world driving decision, real-world race preparation, or any context outside the iRacing simulator. Real cars, real tracks and real conditions are not modelled and not safe to derive from Pace-ly output. Pace-ly accepts no liability for any real-world use.

2. AI-generated, advisory output only

Pace-ly’s race-engineer responses are generated by a third-party large-language model (Anthropic Claude). The model:

  • Can be wrong, make up numbers, or contradict itself between sessions.
  • Has no real-time view of your car or session beyond the telemetry you have shared.
  • Does not understand your skill level, your prior context, or any safety constraints not stated in the conversation.

Treat every recommendation as a starting hypothesis to test, not a verified engineering fix. Inspect every proposed change before applying it, even in the simulator.

3. No guarantee of result

Pace-ly is not a coaching credential, a licensed engineering service, or a results guarantee. Lap-time improvements, setup quality and racecraft outcomes depend on factors outside our control — your hardware, your inputs, your iRacing season build, the track, the car, the conditions, your fitness, and your decisions. We make no warranty that your results will improve or that the Service will be suitable for any particular purpose.

4. Assumption of risk

By using the Service you accept the following risks:

  • That AI output may be inaccurate, unsafe to act on, or unsuitable for your car/track.
  • That telemetry recording may briefly affect simulator performance on slower hardware.
  • That the Service is in early access and may change, malfunction or be discontinued with reasonable notice.
  • That third-party providers (Anthropic, Cloudflare, Stripe, Discord, iRacing) may experience outages that interrupt the Service.

5. No professional advice

Nothing produced by the Service constitutes engineering advice, mechanical advice, legal advice, medical advice (including with respect to fatigue, focus or motion-sickness), or professional advice of any other kind. If you need any of those, consult a qualified professional.

6. Third-party trademarks

iRacing® is a trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. Pace-ly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC, Anthropic, Discord, Stripe, Cloudflare, or any vehicle manufacturer referenced in the Service. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

7. Reporting concerns

If Pace-ly output ever looks dangerous, defamatory, illegal, or otherwise concerning, stop relying on it and report it to support@pace-ly.com.
